अनुक्त्वापरुषंवाक्यंकिञ्चिदप्यनवक्षिपन् ।।।।अविकत्थन्वधिष्यामित्वांपश्यपुरुषाधम ।
anuktvā paruṣaṃ vākyaṃ kiñcid apy anavakṣipan |
avikatthan vadhiṣyāmi tvāṃ paśya puruṣādhama ||
Sin proferir palabra áspera, sin replicar con reproche alguno y sin jactancia, te abatiré. Mira, ¡oh el más vil de los hombres!
"Lowly Rakshasa! without any harsh words, indeed without boasting, commenting, interrupting I will assail you. You may see."
Dharma in conflict is disciplined action: Lakṣmaṇa rejects verbal excess and commits to decisive, duty-bound action rather than ego-driven speech.
After rebuking Indrajit’s boasting, Lakṣmaṇa declares he will answer not with words but with immediate martial action.
