निकुम्भिला
यज्ञविघ्नः — Vibhishana’s Counsel and Lakshmana’s March to Nikumbhila
स तंप्राप्यधनुष्पाणिर्मायायोगमरिन्दमः ।तस्थौब्रह्मविधानेनविजेतुंरघुनन्दनः ।।6.85.34।।
sa taṃ prāpya dhanuṣpāṇir māyā-yogam arindamaḥ |
tasthau brahma-vidhānena vijetuṃ raghu-nandanaḥ ||6.85.34||
Al alcanzar al señor de la ilusión, el domador de enemigos—deleite de Raghu—se mantuvo firme con el arco en la mano, resuelto a vencerlo conforme al orden sagrado y a la estrategia justa.
The tamer of enemies and delight of the Raghu race, Lakshmana stood wielding bow in hand ready to win the conjurer conferred with boon by the creator Brahma.
Dharma opposes deceit with disciplined right means—standing firm against illusion while adhering to rightful method rather than mirroring deception.
Lakṣmaṇa reaches the illusion-wielding adversary and takes his stand, prepared to defeat him.
Steadfast courage—calm resolve in the face of fear and trickery.
