Mas por aquel golpe, Mainda, caudillo de la hueste de los Vānara, herido en un punto vital, cayó a tierra desvanecido.
That blow hit the Vanara leader in his private parts, and Mainda lost consciousness and fell down.
It underscores the gravity of conflict: even the strong can fall. Dharma-oriented reflection recognizes the human (and heroic) vulnerability within war.
After being hit at a vital point, Mainda loses consciousness and collapses on the battlefield.
Endurance tested—Mainda’s leadership is shown by his presence in the front lines, even though he is overcome by injury.
