El valeroso Śoṇitākṣa arrancó los árboles arrojados por Dvivida y Mainda, y con su maza los hizo añicos en pleno vuelo.
Heroic and courageous Sonitaksha tore the trees hurled by Dwivida and Mainda in midway by his mace and crushed them.
Dharma in warfare includes meeting attacks with proportionate, skillful defense; the verse emphasizes capability and presence of mind rather than cruelty.
Dvivida and Mainda attack by hurling trees; Śoṇitākṣa counters by smashing the incoming trees mid-flight with his mace.
Strength allied with timing—effective intervention at the critical moment.
