तस्मिन् सम्पीड्यमानेतुभग्नद्रुमशिलातले ।न शेकुर्वानरास्स्थातुंघूर्णमानेनगोत्तमे ।।6.74.39।।

Transliteration

tasmin sampīḍyamāne tu bhagna-druma-śilā-tale | na śekur vānarāḥ sthātuṃ ghūrṇamānena got­tame ||6.74.39||

Translation

Cuando aquel excelso monte era aplastado—con su ladera sembrada de árboles quebrados y rocas—los vānaras no pudieron sostenerse en pie sobre él, mientras se balanceaba y temblaba.
