Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle
निष्पपाततदाचोल्काज्वलन्तीभीमनिश्श्वना ।आदित्योनिष्प्रभश्चासीन्नप्रवाति च ऽनिलः ।।।।
niṣpapāta tadā colkā jvalantī bhīma-niḥsvanā |
ādityo niṣprabhaś cāsīn na pravāti cānilaḥ ||
Entonces cayó un meteoro ardiente con un rugido espantoso; el sol se volvió opaco, y ni siquiera el viento sopló: presagios cósmicos que se reunían en torno al inminente conflicto.
Then a burning meteor fell from the sky making a terrible sound. The sun lost his glow and the wind lost its delight।।
