The Appearance of Kumbhakarna and the Account of His Might
कुम्भकर्णप्रहारार्तोविजज्वाल स वासवः ।ततोविषेदुस्सहसादेवाब्रह्मर्षिदानवाः ।।6.61.18।।प्रजाभिस्सहशक्रश्चययौस्थानंस्वयम्भुवः ।
kumbhakarṇaprahārārto vijajvāla sa vāsavaḥ |
tato viṣedus sahasā devā brahmarṣidānavāḥ ||6.61.18||
prajābhiḥ saha śakraś ca yayau sthānaṃ svayambhuvaḥ |
Herido y afligido por el golpe de Kumbhakarṇa, Vāsava (Indra) ardió en dolor. Entonces, de súbito, los Devas, los Brahmarṣis y los Dānavas cayeron en desaliento; y Śakra, junto con los seres, se encaminó a la morada de Svayambhū (Brahmā).
