सम्नत्यःपावकज्वालाःशिवाघोराववाशिरे ।।।।अन्तरिक्षात्पपातोल्कावायुश्चपरुषंवनौ ।
vamnatyaḥ pāvakajvālāḥ śivā ghorā vavāśire | antarikṣāt papātolkā vāyuś ca paruṣaṁ vavau ||
Aullaron los chacales terribles, como si vomitaran lenguas de fuego; cayó un meteoro del cielo y sopló un viento áspero: presagios de ruina para el ejército injusto.
