Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond
मोक्षितौचमहाघोरादस्मात्सायकबन्धनात् ।अप्रमादश्चकर्तव्योयुवाभ्यांनित्यमेवच ।।6.50.52।।
mokṣitau ca mahāghorād asmāt sāyakabandhanāt |
apramādaś ca kartavyo yuvābhyāṃ nityam eva ca ||6.50.52||
Vosotros dos seréis liberados de esta terrible atadura de flechas, espantosa en extremo. Y debéis permanecer siempre vigilantes, sin caer jamás en negligencia.
"Considering it as my duty to relieve you both from the frightful bondage of snakes I reached. Do not be inattentive and guileless."
Apramāda (vigilance) is dharma in action—righteous persons must remain alert, especially when facing deceptive enemies.
Garuḍa reassures them of release from the bondage and counsels constant vigilance going forward.
Watchfulness and disciplined attention—necessary complements to truth and valor.
