Ella vio también a los devoradores de carne regocijándose, y a los vanaras junto a Rama y Lakshmana afligidos por un profundo dolor.
Sita beheld extremely happy Rakshasas, and grief stricken Vanaras, in great agony near Rama and Lakshmana.
The verse contrasts moral sensibilities: rejoicing in others’ suffering is adharma, while grief for the righteous reflects compassion and loyalty aligned with dharma.
From the aerial view, Sītā observes rākṣasas celebrating and vānaras mourning near the seemingly stricken Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
The vānaras’ devotion and empathy are emphasized through their sorrow at the apparent fall of their leaders.
