Al oír las palabras de aquel gran guerrero del carro, su corazón se colmó de júbilo; se disipó la fiebre del temor nacida en Dāśarathi, y, regocijado, saludó a su hijo con palabras gozosas.
Vibheeshana started looking with occult powers for his brother's son endowed with occult power following occult means and found Indrajith.
The verse shows how fear and relief can swing the mind; Dharma asks for steadiness grounded in truth and righteousness, not emotional surges tied to harming the virtuous.
Rāvaṇa hears Indrajit’s report and feels his anxiety about Rāma subside, responding by congratulating Indrajit.
Indrajit’s status as a mahāratha (elite warrior) is foregrounded; for Rāvaṇa, the emphasized trait is emotional dependence on perceived advantage rather than dhārmic reflection.
