Malyavan’s Counsel, Portents in Laṅkā, and the Proposal of Alliance
ऋषीणामग्निकल्पानामग्निहोत्रासमुत्थितः ।।।।अदत्तेरक्षसांतेजोधूमोव्याप्यदिशोदश ।
ṛṣīṇām agnikalpānām agnihotrāsamutthitaḥ |
ādattē rakṣasāṃ tejo dhūmo vyāpya diśo daśa ||
El humo que se alza del agnihotra de los rishis—semejantes al mismo fuego—se extiende por las diez direcciones y arrebata el resplandor de los Rakshasas.
"By the spread of smoke in different directions from the sacrificial fires from the oblations offered by the seers the brilliance of the Rakshasas is taken away."
