Aquel rey, acompañado por centenares, desafió aun a los Guardianes del Mundo; y ellos, junto con los mismos dioses, fueron quebrantados por el magnánimo Rāvaṇa.
"The unassailable rulers of the world and even celestial beings have been shattered by Ravana accompanied by the Rakshasas."
Might can overwhelm even divine protectors, but dharma is not measured by victory alone. The verse warns against equating power with moral legitimacy.
Vibhīṣaṇa underscores Rāvaṇa’s past feats and terrifying capability, stressing that the enemy is extraordinarily powerful.
Sobriety in assessment—clear-eyed understanding of danger supports responsible, dharmic decision-making.
