विभीषण–इन्द्रजित् संवादः
Vibhishana and Indrajit: Counsel, Boast, and Rebuttal
पुत्रप्रवादेवतुरावणस्यत्वमिन्द्रजिन्मित्रमुखोऽसिशत्रुः ।यस्येदृशंराघवतोविनाशंनिशम्यमोहादनुमन्यसेत्वम् ।।6.15.10।।
putra-pravāde va tu rāvaṇasya tvam indrajin mitra-mukho 'si śatruḥ | yasyedṛśaṃ rāghavato vināśaṃ niśamya mohād anumanyase tvam ||6.15.10||
Indrajit, aunque te proclamas hijo de Rāvaṇa, en verdad eres su enemigo con rostro de amigo. Pues tras oír de la devastación causada por Rāghava, aún apruebas este curso por engaño.
"What a meaningless statement you made uncle, being frightened? One who is not born in our race also would not have said such unbecoming words uttered by you (nor do such unbecoming acts)?"
