The Pushpaka Vimāna Offered and the Return Prepared
तांरात्रिमुषितंरामंसुखोत्थिमरिन्दमम् ।अब्रवीत्प्राञ्जलिर्वाक्यंजयंपृष्टवाविभीषणः ।।।।
tāṃ rātrim uṣitaṃ rāmaṃ sukhotthitam arindamam |
abravīt prāñjalir vākyaṃ jayaṃ pṛṣṭvā vibhīṣaṇaḥ ||
Cuando Rāma, domador de enemigos, hubo pasado aquella noche y se levantó con sosiego, Vibhīṣaṇa, con las palmas juntas, preguntó por la victoria y pronunció estas palabras.
Rising in the morning after comfortable rest that night, Vibheeshana saw Rama the subduer of enemies, offered salutations and asked him of the victory and spoke.
Maryādā (proper conduct) and respectful speech: Vibhīṣaṇa approaches with humility and asks formally, reflecting dharmic etiquette after conflict.
After resting through the night, Rāma is approached by Vibhīṣaṇa, who greets him respectfully and begins a conversation about the outcome of the war.
Vibhīṣaṇa’s humility and loyalty—he honors Rāma and seeks clarity in a courteous manner.
