Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain
यो न शक्यस्सुरैर्हन्तुं न यक्षैर्नासुरैस्तथा ।सोऽयंकश्चिदिवासत्त्वोमृत्युंमर्त्येनलम्भितः ।।।।
yo na śakyaḥ surair hantuṃ na yakṣair nāsurais tathā |
so 'yaṃ kaścid ivāsattvo mṛtyuṃ martyena lambhitaḥ ||6.113.16||
Aquel a quien ni los dioses, ni los Yakṣas, ni los Asuras pudieron matar, ahora ha hallado la muerte por mano de un mortal, yace como si hubiera quedado sin todo poder.
"He, who could not be killed by Suras, Asuras or Yakshas, such a hero lies like a weak person devoid of strength, killed by a mortal, is resting."
