मायाविहितमेतत्तुशस्त्रवर्षमपातयत् ।।6.109.18।।सहस्रशस्तदाबाणानश्रान्तहृदयोद्यमः ।
māyā-vihitam etat tu śastra-varṣam apātayat |
sahasraśas tadā bāṇān aśrānta-hṛdayodyamaḥ ||6.109.18||

In that war, noisy, alarming, fearful loud noise of weapons of different kinds, in huge numbers, descended.
Dharma values transparency and truth (satya); māyā in combat suggests deceptive power used to overwhelm rather than to uphold justice.
Rāvaṇa escalates by unleashing a magically generated barrage of weapons and countless arrows.
By contrast, the verse points to the danger of using power without satya—skill divorced from righteousness becomes manipulative force.
