Aditya Hridayam Upadeśa — Agastya’s Instruction to Rāma
एतच्छ्रुत्वामहातेजानष्टशोकोऽभवत्तदा ।धारयामाससुप्रीतोराघवःप्रयतात्मवान् ।।6.107.28।।
etac chrutvā mahātejā naṣṭa-śoko 'bhavat tadā |
dhārayām āsa suprīto rāghavaḥ prayatātmavān ||6.107.28||
Al oír esto, el muy resplandeciente quedó entonces libre de pena. Muy complacido y con la mente recogida, Rāghava, dueño de sí, sostuvo firmemente la enseñanza en su recuerdo.
And thereafter, the Sun god delighted at heart, overwhelmed with joy surrounded by gods looking at Rama knowing that the Rakshasa king will be destroyed, came quickly to Rama and uttered 'hurry up'.।। itayāraṣēvālamīkīyēśarīmadarāmāyaṇēādikāvayēyudadhakāṇaḍēsapatōtataraśatatamasasaragaḥ ।।This is the end of the one hundred and seventh sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by Sage Valmiki.
Dharma requires mastery over grief and fear so that duty can be performed with clarity; inner steadiness supports truthful and righteous action.
After Agastya’s instruction and assurance, Rāma’s despondency lifts; he becomes mentally disciplined and ready to act.
Self-control (prayatātmavat) and emotional resilience—Rāma regains calm focus before the decisive battle.
