Indra’s Chariot Offered to Rāma; The Duel Intensifies
रथेनममभूमिष्ठंशीघ्रंयाहिरघूत्तमम् ।।।।आहूयभूतलंयातःकुरुदेवहितंमहत् ।
rathena mama bhūmiṣṭhaṃ śīghraṃ yāhi raghūttamam |
āhūya bhūtalaṃ yātaḥ kuru deva-hitaṃ mahat ||
«Ve pronto en mi carro hacia el más excelso de los Raghu, que está en la tierra; llámalo y, descendiendo al campo de batalla, cumple esta gran obra benéfica deseada por los dioses.»
Sri Rama steadily covered Ravana, the ten headed Rakshasa with shining shafts covered with gold glowing like fire in the battle.
Dharma includes restoring proper conditions for righteous action: the gods support Rāma so the battle proceeds without unfair imbalance.
