Not minding the arrows struck, Rama embraced Lakshmana and spoke to Hanumantha and the great Vanara Sugriva.
Dharma is the union of protection and justice: Rāma commands care for Lakṣmaṇa (duty to one’s own) while committing to punish wrongdoing (duty to the world’s moral order).
With Lakṣmaṇa critically wounded, Rāma instructs the Vānaras to guard him and declares his intent to slay Rāvaṇa immediately.
Rāma’s niścaya (firm resolve) and dharma-yukta śaurya (valor aligned with righteousness) are emphasized.
