शक्तौ तौ पुरुषव्याघ्रौ वाय्वग्निसमतेजसौ ।।।।सुराणामपि दुर्धर्षौ किमर्थं मामुपेक्षतः।
śaktau tau puruṣa-vyāghrau vāyv-agni-sama-tejasau | surāṇām api durdharṣau kim arthaṃ mām upekṣataḥ |

Capability creates obligation: when one has the power to protect, dharma condemns indifference to another’s suffering.
