Some made others laugh, some provoked others and some thought of doing something else having got over the intoxication.
It highlights the instability of conduct under intoxication and excitement; Dharma values steadiness (dhairya) and self-restraint (dama) rather than impulsive, disorderly behavior.
The vānaras, having gained access to Madhuvana and honey, behave in varied, unruly ways—laughing, provoking, talking, and shifting from one act to another.
By contrast (implicitly), the virtue emphasized is self-control—acting with restraint even amid celebration and success.
