Aquel bosque llamado Madhuvana, celosamente guardado como propiedad de Sugriva, era inexpugnable para toda criatura y deleitoso para todos los seres.
The Madhuvanam of Sugriva was wellprotected and was difficult to access for the vanaras. It was enchating to all beings.
Respect for maryādā and rightful ownership: even a delightful place is protected under rājadharma, and entering or consuming its bounty raises questions of permission and duty.
Madhuvana is introduced as Sugrīva’s protected grove, setting up the coming conflict when the returning vānara-s wish to enjoy its honey.
Guardianship and order (rakṣaṇa), reflecting Sugrīva’s governance and the principle that resources are regulated by duty.
