Survey of Ravana’s Residence and Lanka’s Inner Quarters
सहस्रं वाहिनीस्तत्र जाम्बूनदपरिष्कृताः।।।।हेमजालपरिच्छन्नास्तरुणादित्यसन्निभाः।ददर्श राक्षसेन्द्रस्य रावणस्य निवेशने।।।।
sahasraṁ vāhinīs tatra jāmbūnadapariṣkṛtāḥ |
hemajālaparicchannās taruṇādityasannibhāḥ |
dadarśa rākṣasendrasya rāvaṇasya niveśane ||
Allí, en la morada de Rāvaṇa, señor de los rākṣasas, vio miles de tropas: adornadas con oro de Jāmbūnada, cubiertas con una malla de oro, resplandecientes como el sol recién nacido.
He saw in the palace of Ravana, the demon king, thousands of troops adorned with gold, fully protected with armour of gold shining like the morning Sun.
