सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
वानराणां प्रभावो हि न केन विदितः पुरा।देवतानां सङ्काशं च ये गच्छन्ति निमन्त्रिताः।।।।
vānarāṇāṃ prabhāvo hi na kena viditaḥ purā | devatānāṃ saṅkāśaṃ ca ye gacchanti nimantritāḥ ||
¿Quién, en tiempos antiguos, no conoció el poder de las huestes vánaras? Cuando son convocados, avanzan como iguales de los dioses, dispuestos a prestar auxilio.
'Who knows not the power of Vanaras in the past? Even gods had sought their help.
