षट्पञ्चाशः सर्गः — वैदेही-आश्वासनम् तथा अरिष्टारोहणम्
Consoling Sita and Ascending Mount Arishta
एवमाश्वास्य वैदेहीं हनुमान् मारुतात्मजः।गमनाय मतिं कृत्वा वैदेहीमभ्यवादयत्।।।।
evam āśvāsya vaidehīṃ hanumān mārutātmajaḥ | gamanāya matiṃ kṛtvā vaidehīm abhyavādayat ||
Así, habiendo consolado a Vaidehī, Hanumān —hijo del dios del Viento— decidió partir y la saludó con reverencia.
Eager to leap the terrific ocean lashed by huge waves hitting the shore Hanuman rose up effortlessly and jumped into the sky.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē sundarakāṇḍē ṣaṭpañcāśassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the fiftysixth sarga of Sundarakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
Dharma as respectful conduct: even in urgent missions, Hanumān maintains maryādā—offering due reverence to Sītā and acting with disciplined purpose.
After reassuring Sītā, Hanumān prepares to leave Aśoka-vana to return and report, formally taking leave with a respectful salutation.
