Ravana Deploys Five Generals; Hanuman Destroys the Commanders and the Remaining Host
ततस्स मथिताष्टाश्वं रथं भग्नाक्षकूबरम्।।।।विहाय न्यपतद्भूमौ दुर्धरस्त्यक्तजीवितः।
tatas sa mathitāṣṭāśvaṃ rathaṃ bhagnākṣakūbaram | vihāya nyapatad bhūmau durdharas tyaktajīvitaḥ ||
Entonces Durdhara, con su carro destrozado, sus ocho caballos muertos y el eje y el timón quebrados, abandonó el despojo y cayó sin vida en tierra.
Having lost his chariot, the horses yoked to it killed, its axle and pole broken to pieces, Durdhara fell down dead from the chariot.
