Destruction of the Chaitya Palace and Hanuman’s Proclamation
तस्यास्फोटितशब्देन महता श्रोत्रघातिना।पेतुर्विहङ्गमास्तत्र चैत्यपालाश्च मोहिताः।।।।
tasyāsphoṭitaśabdena mahatā śrotraghātinā |
petur vihaṅgamās tatra caityapālāś ca mohitāḥ ||
Por aquel gran estruendo, que golpeaba los oídos, de su palmoteo, las aves cayeron allí, y aun los guardianes del santuario quedaron aturdidos y confusos.
By the deafening sound caused by the patting, the birds fell down and the guards of the palace lost consciousness.
