Destruction of the Chaitya Palace and Hanuman’s Proclamation
नेयमस्ति पुरी लङ्का न यूयं न च रावणः।।।यस्मादिक्ष्वाकुनाथेन बद्धं वैरं महात्मना।
na iyam asti purī laṅkā na yūyaṃ na ca rāvaṇaḥ |
yasmād ikṣvāku-nāthena baddhaṃ vairaṃ mahātmanā ||5.43.25||
No permanecerá esta ciudad de Laṅkā, ni vosotros, ni siquiera Rāvaṇa; pues el magnánimo señor de la estirpe de Ikṣvāku ha sellado esta enemistad por causa justa.
The powerful vanara leader climbed the tall, palatial building which resembled a mountain. He looked like another Sun, just risen.
Satya and moral causality: Hanumān declares the inevitable downfall that follows when one provokes a dharmic sovereign (Rāma) through grave injustice.
Concluding his aerial proclamation, Hanumān warns that Laṅkā and Rāvaṇa cannot endure after enmity with Rāma has been incurred.
Satya (truthful, fearless speech) and niṣṭhā (unshakable conviction in dharma’s victory).
