"Lakshmana is soft, pure, competent and dear to Rama. O great vanara, act in such a manner that Lakshmana can mitigate my suffering. O great monkey, the best of vanaras! you are competent in accomplishing this task.
Dharma as compassionate action: competence and purity should be directed toward removing suffering; also, entrusting the right agent for the right task.
Sītā urges Hanumān to act effectively so that Lakṣmaṇa (and by extension Rāma’s mission) can bring an end to her misery.
Lakṣmaṇa’s gentleness and competence, and Hanumān’s capability and trustworthiness as the key agent in the mission.
