Transliteration

ahiṃsāratir akṣudro ghṛṇī satyaparākramaḥ | mukhyaś cīkṣvākuvaṃśasya lakṣmīvān lakṣmivardhanaḥ ||

Translation

Se deleitaba en la no violencia, era generoso y compasivo, y su valor se fundaba en la verdad. Primordial en la estirpe de Ikṣvāku, era próspero—y acrecentador de la prosperidad.
