Auspicious Omens Arise for Sita
भुजश्च चार्वञ्चितपीनवृत्तःपरार्थ्यकालागरुचन्दनार्हः।अनुत्तमेनाध्युषितः प्रियेण चिरेण वामः समवेपताऽशु।।5.29.3।।
bhujaś ca cārvañcitapīnavṛttaḥ parārthyakālāgarucandanārhaḥ | anuttamenādhyuṣitaḥ priyena cireṇa vāmaḥ samavepatāśu ||5.29.3||
Y su brazo izquierdo—hermosamente curvado, pleno y redondeado, digno del fino agaru y de la pasta de sándalo—que por largo tiempo fue el reposo de su amado incomparable, de pronto comenzó a palpitar.
Her stout left arm curved beautifully, fit for excellent agaru and sandal paste once the pillow by her beloved lord for long, throbbed suddenly.
Hope aligned with righteousness: the omen is narrated as a support for the virtuous, reinforcing perseverance in satya and dharma.
A second auspicious sign appears on Sītā’s body, suggesting the nearness of reunion with Rāma.
