Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

अथोर्ध्वं दूरमुत्प्लुत्य हित्वा शैलमहार्णवौ।पितुः पन्थानमास्थाय जगाम विमलेऽम्बरे।।।।

Transliteration

athordhvaṃ dūram utplutya hitvā śaila-mahārṇavau | pituḥ panthānam āsthāya jagāma vimale ’mbare ||

Translation

Entonces, elevándose alto y lejos en el cielo diáfano, dejó atrás la montaña y el vasto océano; y, siguiendo el sendero de su padre, el Viento, se lanzó adelante.
