Deployment to the Eastern Quarter for the Search of Sita
महेन्द्रकान्तां वनषण्डमण्डितांदिशं चरित्वा निपुणेन वानराः।अवाप्य सीतां रघुवंशजप्रियांततो निवृत्तास्सुखिनो भविष्यथ।।4.40.70।।
mahendrakāntāṃ vanaṣaṇḍamaṇḍitāṃ diśaṃ caritvā nipuṇena vānarāḥ |
avāpya sītāṃ raghuvaṃśaja-priyāṃ tato nivṛttāḥ sukhino bhaviṣyatha || 4.40.70 ||
Oh monos, recorred con destreza la región oriental, amada de Mahendra, adornada de arboledas y bosques. Cuando halléis a Sītā, amada del vástago de la estirpe de Raghu (Rāma), regresad; entonces viviréis seguros y felices.

Dharma as faithful service to a righteous cause: careful effort in a just mission leads to welfare (sukha) for the community.
Sugriva motivates and directs the vanaras to search the eastern quarter thoroughly and return upon finding Sītā.
Competent, careful action (nipuṇatā) joined with loyalty to Rāma’s cause.
