Mobilization and Counsel on Kingship
परिष्वज्य च धर्मात्मा निषीदेति ततोऽब्रवीत्।।4.38.19।।निषण्णं तं ततो दृष्ट्वा क्षितौ रामोऽब्रवीद्वचः।
pariṣvajya ca dharmātmā niṣīdety ato 'bravīt | niṣaṇṇaṃ taṃ tato dṛṣṭvā kṣitau rāmo 'bravīd vacaḥ ||
Tras abrazarlo, el justo Rāma dijo: «Siéntate». Y al ver a Sugrīva sentado en el suelo, Rāma pronunció entonces estas palabras.
Embracing him, Rama offered him a seat on the ground and said:
Dharma is expressed through dignified hospitality and orderly counsel: Rāma seats Sugrīva and prepares to speak on right conduct, showing that guidance should be given in a calm, respectful setting.
Rāma embraces Sugrīva, asks him to sit, and begins a formal instruction/discourse.
Rāma’s righteousness and mentorship—he guides an allied king with measured words.
