Oh el mejor de los hombres, Sugrīva hace ya tiempo puso en marcha el empeño para consumar tu propósito, aunque por ahora se halle bajo el dominio del placer.
'O best of men! although overpowered by sense pleasures, Sugriva has already initiated efforts for the accomplishment of your work.
Dharma in alliances is fidelity to one’s pledged task; even if personal weakness appears, the decisive measure is whether duty-bound action has been initiated and maintained.
Tārā reassures Lakṣmaṇa that Sugrīva has already begun arrangements to help Rāma, countering the charge of negligence.
Accountability to commitments—Sugrīva’s obligation to assist, and Tārā’s truthful reporting to prevent unjust escalation.
