Autumn’s Onset: Rama’s Lament and Lakshmana Sent to Sugriva
Gaining back the senses after a while, wise Rama started thinking about Vaidehi, who remained in his heart.
Steadfast fidelity: even amid hardship, Rāma’s mind returns to Sītā, reflecting dharmic commitment and truthfulness in love and duty.
In Kiṣkindhā-kāṇḍa, Rāma emerges from a moment of faintness or overwhelm and immediately resumes his inward focus on Sītā’s plight.
Constancy (dhṛti) and loyalty—Rāma’s unwavering attachment to Sītā aligned with maryādā (righteous bounds).
