शरत्प्रवेशे रामविलापः तथा सुग्रीवप्रमादे लक्ष्मणप्रेषणम्
Autumn’s Onset: Rama’s Lament and Lakshmana Sent to Sugriva
घनानां वारणानां च मयूराणां च लक्ष्मण।नादः प्रस्रवणानां च प्रशान्तस्सहसाऽनघ।।
ghanānāṃ vāraṇānāṃ ca mayūrāṇāṃ ca lakṣmaṇa |
nādaḥ prasravaṇānāṃ ca praśāntaḥ sahasā ’nagha ||
Oh Lakṣmaṇa sin tacha, el retumbar de las densas nubes, el barrito de los elefantes, los gritos de los pavos reales y aun el bramido de las cascadas han callado de pronto.
'O sinless Lakshmana! the rumblings of heavy clouds, the trumpeting of elephants, the cry of peacocks and the sound of waterfalls have become suddenly stilled.
