Tārā’s Lament over Vāli
उद्ववर्ह शरं नीलस्तस्य गात्रगतं तदा।गिरिगह्वरसंलीनं दीप्तमाशीविषं यथा।।
udvavarha śaraṁ nīlas tasya gātragataṁ tadā | girigahvarasaṁlīnaṁ dīptam āśīviṣaṁ yathā ||
Entonces Nīla, con esfuerzo, arrancó la flecha clavada en su cuerpo, como quien saca una serpiente ardiente escondida en una cueva de montaña.
