People rejoiced at the sight of those shining waters. They were happy to have a dip in Ganga and their fatigue was gone.
Dharma promotes collective welfare: sacred institutions (like Gaṅgā as purifier) are portrayed as renewing society—relieving burdens and restoring strength.
The wider world responds joyfully to Gaṅgā’s arrival and experiences refreshment through bathing.
Gratitude and reverence—recognizing and receiving a boon meant for the good of many.
