सुतीक्ष्णाश्रमप्रस्थानम्
Departure from Sutikshna’s Hermitage
अविषह्यातपो यावत्सूर्यो नातिविराजते।अमार्गेणागतां लक्ष्मीं प्राप्येवान्वयवर्जितः।।3.8.8।।तावदिच्छामहे गन्तुमित्युक्त्वा चरणौ मुनेः।ववन्दे सहसौमित्रिस्सीतया सह राघवः।। 3.8.9।।
aviṣahyātapo yāvat sūryo nāti-virājate | amārgeṇāgatāṃ lakṣmīṃ prāpyeva anvaya-varjitaḥ || tāvad icchāmahe gantum ity uktvā caraṇau muneḥ | vavande saha saumitriḥ sītayā saha rāghavaḥ ||
Deseamos partir mientras el sol aún no resplandece con un calor insoportable—como quien, falto de noble linaje, al obtener riqueza por senda ilícita, se vuelve excesivamente ostentoso. Dicho esto, Rāma, junto con Sītā y Saumitrī (Lakṣmaṇa), se postró a los pies del muni.
O revered Sutikshna! received by one so worship-worthy like you, we spent the night well. We (now)take leave of you. The sages are hastening us.
