Jatayu’s Combat with Ravana

Mighty Jatayu, lord of the birds, shattered with his wings the armour of Ravana that was glowing like fire.
Righteous defense is persistent and strategic—dharma is upheld by removing protections that enable oppression.
In the continuing battle, Jatāyu damages Rāvaṇa’s protective gear, pressing the fight to rescue Sītā.
Mahā-vīrya (great valor): sustained strength directed toward a morally justified end.
