The Slaying (Burial) of Viradha
ततस्तु तौ काञ्चनचित्रकार्मुकौ निहत्य रक्षः परिगृह्य मैथिलीम्।विजह्रतु स्तौ मुदितौ महावने दिवि स्थितौ चन्द्रदिवाकराविव।।।।
tatas tu tau kāñcana-citra-kārmukau nihatya rakṣaḥ parigṛhya maithilīm | vijahratuḥ stau muditau mahā-vane divi sthitau candra-divākarāv iva ||
Entonces, tras dar muerte al rākṣasa, los dos—portando espléndidos arcos adornados de oro—tomaron consigo a Maithilī y vagaron gozosos por la gran selva, como la Luna y el Sol en el cielo.
