The Slaying (Burial) of Viradha
तदेव रामेण निशम्य भाषितं कृता मतिस्तस्य बिलप्रवेशने।बिलं च रामेणातिबलेन रक्षसा प्रवेश्यमानेन वनं विनादितम्।।।।
tad eva rāmeṇa niśamya bhāṣitaṃ kṛtā matis tasya bila-praveśane | bilaṃ ca rāmeṇātibalena rakṣasā praveśyamānena vanaṃ vināditam ||
Al oír esas mismas palabras, Rāma decidió arrojarlo a una fosa; y mientras el rākṣasa, de fuerza desmedida, era empujado por Rāma hacia ella, el bosque resonó con sus alaridos.
