The Slaying of Dūṣaṇa and the Rout of Khara’s Host
Rama retaliated in great anger to kill without caring for the shower of weapons like a bull with its eyes closed.
The verse reinforces protective dharma: even formidable threats must be met fully so that danger does not return to harm the innocent.
It concludes the elimination of the remaining demon fighters at the battlefront.
Thoroughness and resolve—Rama completes the duty of protection without leaving the work half-done.
