The Battle with Khara’s Host at the Hermitage

Con lanzas y mazas en mano, y también con arcos—poderosos en fuerza—los rākṣasas, en la batalla, desataron lluvias de flechas y de armas, arrojando además lluvias de árboles y de piedras.
Holding spears, hammers and bows in their hands, the mighty demons rained on Rama weapons like arrows, trees and stones.
It illustrates how adharma relies on indiscriminate force and intimidation; dharma, by contrast, calls for measured power guided by right intent.
The rākṣasas mount a renewed, heavy assault, bombarding the battlefield with a barrage of missiles and uprooted objects.
Rāma’s endurance is implied: he must withstand overwhelming, chaotic attack while remaining aligned with righteous conduct.
