Winter Description and Reflection on Bharata’s Devotion
बाष्पच्छन्नान्यरण्यानि यवगोधूमवन्ति च।शोभन्तेऽभ्युदिते सूर्ये नद्भि क्रौञ्चसारसैः।।।।
bāṣpacchannāny araṇyāni yavagodhūmavanti ca | śobhante 'bhyudite sūrye nadbhi krauñcasārasaiḥ ||
Los bosques, velados por el rocío, y las tierras ricas en cebada y trigo se hermosean al salir el sol, mientras los krauñca y las grullas entonan dulces clamores.
The tops of rice crops shining like gold resemble the flowers of date-palm.The fields full of ripe paddy bending a little (under the weight of grains) look delightful.
It affirms gratitude and harmony with nature: dharmic living recognizes order and beauty even amid austerity, cultivating contentment rather than resentment.
