Agastya Directs Rama to Panchavati
एषा हि सुकुमारी च दुःखैश्च न विमानिता।प्राज्यदोषं वनं प्राप्ता भर्तृस्नेहप्रचोदिता।।।।
eṣā hi sukumārī ca duḥkhaiś ca na vimānitā | prājyadoṣaṃ vanaṃ prāptā bhartṛsnehapracoditā ||
Pues ella, aunque delicada, no se abate por las penas. Impulsada por el amor a su esposo, ha entrado en este bosque, colmado de muchas dificultades.
O valiant Rama! look at the great forest of madhuka trees. Walk north to the forest till you see a great banyan tree.
Steadfastness in dharma: Sītā’s fidelity and resilience show that righteous commitment is maintained even amid hardship.
Agastya speaks to Rama, highlighting Sītā’s strength and devotion in having accompanied him into the difficult forest life.
Sītā’s fortitude (dhṛti) and devoted love (bhartṛ-sneha), expressed as calm endurance rather than complaint.
