The Gaṅgā–Yamunā Confluence

It means performing the act according to the rule or procedure taught by the ancient Ṛṣis (seer-tradition), i.e., an orthodox, scripture-aligned method rather than an arbitrary practice.
It affirms that dharmic performance is scaled to capacity: one should act within what is feasible given one’s resources, rather than abandoning duty due to inability to perform lavishly.
It teaches that a properly performed dharmic act—done in the right way and within one’s ability—protects one from severe post-mortem consequences symbolized by Yama and Naraka.
