Praise of Pilgrimage (Tīrtha) and Prelude to the Greatness of Prayāga
पापिनां नरके वासः सुकृती स्वर्गमश्नुते । तस्मात्पुण्यं निषेवेत तीर्थं खलु विचक्षणः
pāpināṃ narake vāsaḥ sukṛtī svargamaśnute | tasmātpuṇyaṃ niṣeveta tīrthaṃ khalu vicakṣaṇaḥ
Los pecadores moran en el infierno, y quien obra el bien alcanza el cielo. Por eso, el prudente debe cultivar el mérito y acudir, en verdad, a los tīrthas, lugares sagrados de peregrinación.
